ADAM'S RIB (1949) A despairing wife attempts to kill her neglectful husband, sparking the interest of prosecutor Adam Bonner. But Bonner will be fighting more than the average defense attorney after his wife Amanda takes up the woman's case. But all is fair in love and war, so Adam seems to think, and of course, marital mayhem ensues, ruffling the feathers of what was once a perfectly complacent marriage.
