A Little Romance (1979) A bright American girl, Lauren (Diane Lane), living in Paris with her ex-patriot mother, Kay (Sally Lellerman and stepfather, Richard (Arthur Hill), meets a son of a parisien taxi driver, young Daniel (Thelonius Bernard), a movie enthusiast. Daniel and Lauren begin an adolescent love relationship. After meeting a comical old gentleman, (Laurence Olivier), who spun a romatic tale of eternal love, they travel with him to Venice, with stars in their eyes, seeking to kiss at sunset in a gondola under the Bridge of Sighs, with the hope of having this love between them last forever. Parents and police are just a step behind them, so the race to the bridge begins in earnest.
