Another 48 Hours (1990) - R

Haphazard police officer Jack Cates' life and career are suddenly in jeopardy when a covert mission goes awry leaving a dead suspect missing a gun, pinning the alleged murder on Cates. Seeking the help of inmate Reggie Hammond to help him crack the case after learning of a bounty placed on Hammond's head pending his release the following day, the two go in search of ruthless drug dealer "The Iceman" with only 48 hours to track him down.
