This time around dynamic narcotic cop duo Lowrey and Bennett are heading a task force currently investigating ecstasy trafficking into Miami. With the inquiry leading them literally, to the lethal kingpin's doorsteps, Lowrey and Bennett, after evading death for the umpteenth time, learn that an underground war has emerged as a result of the kingpin's attempts to control the drug market. Meanwhile, Bennett's sister, Syd, enters the picture and steams things up with Lowrey, possibly complicating matters further.
