Determined to avenge his parent's murder, which he witnessed on the streets of Gotham City as a young boy, Bruce Wayne grows up to be the mysterious crime-fighting hero Batman. Swearing to protect the innocent and maintain justice in Gotham City, Batman becomes a nefarious city Icon, heavily relied on by Gotham's citizens. But the town wonders, who is Batman? With photographer Vicki Vale hot on the trail to his identity, will she finally unmask the hero, or will villain Joker's evil ploy get in the way of things?
