Batman Returns (1992) With the Joker gone, Batman takes to ridding Gotham of its latest nemesis, the "Penguin." With the help of corrupt business officials, the Penguin works his way into becoming Mayor of Gotham City. In light of his social status, the Penguin and his financial backer, Max Schreck, attempt to expose and do away with the "dark night" once and for all. Meanwhile, Schreck's secretary enters the story as "Catwoman," an anti-heroine much like Batman. While Batman attempts to deal with Penguin and his business goons, he also dances around the mysterious Catwoman who may be just as dangerous as the other villains lurking around Gotham City's alleyways. The cast includes: Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Michael Gough, and Michael Murphy. Directed by Tim Burton.
