Behind Enemy Lines (2001)

When fighter pilot Chris Burnett makes it known that he's ready for something other than his boring recon missions, he finds his prayers answered á la a mission to fly over war-inflicted Bosnia on Christmas day. As he and pilot Stackhouse execute their mission, they decide to fly slightly off course, provoking deadly consequences thereafter. After getting shot down, the two pilots struggle to survive in war-torn Bosnia, causing political conflict and leaving one pilot to make his way out alive, alone.
