Billy Jack (1971) - PG

Ex-Green Beret Billy Jack is a half-Indian/half-white who is conflicted with the ideals of his "whiteness". Known for his abhorrence for violence, BillyJack struggles to escape its presence in the white man's world. With Billy Jack focusing intently on the themes of the late 60's, the plot of good guys vs. bad guys emerges as a peace-love-happiness art school vs the nearby town's conservative citizens, respectively, with issues such as anti-establishment, societal rape, and racial segregation emerging in the foreground in dialogue and action.
