Boom Town (1940)

Jonathan Sand (Spencer Tracy) and John McMasters (Clark Gable) are a couple of wildcatters out to strike it rich in the oil fields of Texas in 1918. Partners and friends, their dreams of success come true, only to  be shattered over their love of the same woman (Claudette Colbert). Years later McMasters faces ruinous antitrust accusations. Will his one-time friend stand up for him?
