Captain Blood (1935)

Classic action star Errol Flynn rose to fame and stardom overnight in this swashbuckling adventure about Peter Blood (Flynn), who's forced into slavery on Colonel Bishop's (Lionel Atwill) plantation in Jamaica. There, Blood joins forces with marauding Spanish pirates, saves Bishop's beautiful niece (Olivia de Havilland) from evil French pirate Basil Rathbone, and eventually becomes governor of Jamaica.
