Captains Courageous (1937)

Self indulgent aristocrat Harvey Cheyne's world turns upside down when a prank lands him overboard on his transatlantic sea voyage. Fortunately for Harvey a local fishing boat espies his floundering self, but now Harvey's left to adapt to the lowly ways of humble seamen and the harsh realities of a world that's anything but silver-spoon.

The cast includes: Spencer Tracy, Melvyn Douglas, Freddie Bartholomew, Lionel Barrymore, Mickey Rooney, Charley Grapewin, John Carradine, and Oscar O'Shea.

CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS was nominated for the 1937 Best Picture award.
