Catch-22 (1970 - R)

Adapted from the Joseph Heller's novel, the film follows one bombardier trying to escape the horrors of WWII. Intent on being declared clinically insane by the Air Force in order to secure his ticket home, he throws a series of maniacal stunts. Still, while in the midst of the actual war carnage, the line between insanity and pretense is drawn dangerously thin as Yossarian's friends begin to die one by one.

The cast includes: Art Garfunkel, Alan Arkin, Martin Balsam, Richard Benjamin, Jack Gilford, Bob Newhart, Anthony Perkins, Martin Sheen, John Voight, Bob Balaban, and Orson Welles.
