Plot: Set in the 1960's the film recounts the true tale of legendary con-artist Frank Abagnale Jr. and his many run ins with the IRS and FBI as he swindles his way into wealth one fraudulent check to the next after a rough childhood and lowly father figure prompt Abagnale to take up the family trade. What was initially an attempt to avenge he and his mother's rough life turned into criminal behavior that had Abagnale passing over 4 million dollars in fraudulent checks and earning the hot pursuit of FBI agent Carl Hanratty, who is torn between hating and respecting the genius of Abagnale's craft.
