Coyote Ugly is a playful and romantically sexy comedy about a young girl leaving her small town to pursue her dreams of becoming a songwriter in New York City. Struggling to make rent for her dowdy apartment, Violet Sanford employs her efforts at the new "it-bar" Coyote Ugly where she earns her fast cash by pouring rounds and dancing on bar tops. But when she gets a crack at fame at an open mic competition, will her once tentative nature prevent her from going through with the show and following her dreams?
