Demolition Man (1993) - R

Villainous Simon Phoenix has been cryogenically frozen in the years 1996 after being convicted for a slew of crimes. His pursuer, officer John Spartan has also been unjustly accused of a crime and frozen as well. But while in a frozen status Spartan harnesses a love for knitting while Simon gains knowledge in technological fighting techniques enabling him to escape his status. With John being the only one who can pursue this murderous criminal now loose in a crime free society, Spartan must find a way to avenge his injustice and put an end to Phoenix's reign once and for all.
