Desperately Seeking Susan (1985)

Plot: Roberta is a neglected, bored housewife whose life is about to be sparked by the adventures that ensue after she heads to New York to "answer" an ad titled, "Desperately Seeking Susan." Along the way Roberta begins to imitate the mystery woman whose life unfolds through the weekly personal ads. Eventually Roberta ends up in contact with Susan's boyfriend Jim… things only get more complicated from there.
