Dinner at Eight (1933) With husband Oliver's health in a fragile situation, Millicent Jordan is putting all of her energy into her plans for a hoity toity dinner party. With more than his health to worry about, Oliver feels his company is in trouble, as well as the company stock, so Oliver enlists the help of businessman Dan Packard whom he persuades Millicent to invite to dinner. Millicent's party plans and Oliver's health seem to fail in parallel. With things getting very interesting around the house it appears that when the big night finally arrives the guests will have a lot more to discuss than the meal itself.
