Eyewitness (1981 - R)

Tony Sokolow is a hard faced TV commentator whose style has caught the eye of Manhattan janitor, Daryll Deever.  When a wealthy resident of Daryll's building is murdered, the ambitious Tony arrives on scene to cover the story.  While there, Daryll takes advantage and introduces himself.  Intrigued, however, Tony begins following him, thinking he may know something about the case.  Meanwhile, the real killer observes
Tony and Daryll's secret cat and mouse chase, initiating their own tracking game that comes with very deadly consequences in deed.
