With the movie following the adventures of four students; unabashed Coco Hernandez, timid Doris Finsecker, coarse Raul Garcia, and delicate Montgomery MacNeil, at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts, we watch their journey from the day of the first audition up to their graduation.
