As a thirty-something corporate slave becomes disillusioned by the void produced by consumer-driven society, he seeks solace in the arms of support-group participants. Suffering from none of the illnesses of the groups he attends, he is furious upon uncovering another fraud hooked on the same pathetic trend. Hitting bottom, the nameless worker bee meets Tyler Durden, the man with all the right answers, and the leader of the underground anarchist organization "Fight Club". As he and Tyler plot the destruction of a capitalist society it seems our mystery man may be on a permanent hiatus from the reality that initially left him jaded.
