Fletch (1985) - PG

Fletch is a top notch reporter covering a story on drug sales when approached by a desperate Alan Stanwyck who implores Fletch to murder him so as to save him from an impending death from cancer. With Fletch continuing to snoop around in hopes of cracking the story open, he begins to discover irregularities in Stanwyck's purported past and in the mysterious Visa number of Underhill.

The cast includes: Joe Don Baker, Chevy Chase, Tim Matheson, Richard Libertini, George Wendt, M. Emmett Walsh, Geena Davis, Bill Henderson, and Tony Longo.
