Footloose (1984) - PG

In this coming of age film, teenage city boy Ren is inducted into culture shock 101 when his family moves from Chicago to a small town out West. In a town where dancing and rock'n'roll are illegal, Ren is more than miserable, save for one thing; a sweet blonde named Ariel. With Prom just around the corner, Ren rallies the troops in an effort to legalize rock and roll and win Ariel's heart in his own way.
