A remake of the 1976 Disney classic, Freaky Friday depicts the typical mother-daughter relationship; fighting, screaming, arguing, screaming... But when Dr. Tess Coleman and her 15 year old daughter Anna get into a showdown at a local Chinese restaurant the waitress decides to play a trick on the unsightly women by casting a spell on their fortune cookies. Upon reading their fortune cookies the two women go to bed and wakeup on Friday only to be in the other's body! With Dr. Coleman trying to pull of being a disgruntled teenager and Anna attempting professionalism far beyond her true years, will the two find a way to switch back or will they be forced to play the roles of one another forever?
