In this witty farcical tale you have a whole different perspective of the "King of the Jungle". After a plane crashes in a remote jungle, the surviving baby George was taken under wing by a wise ape. Raised amongst the primates, George grows up to become a noble savage who rescues Ursula Stanhope from near death while on a safari trip years later. As George learns of the ways of man via Ursula who is staying with him in the jungle, her lover, Lyle, sets out a pursuit for the missing woman. Once discovered, Ursula takes George back to America where he suddenly finds himself in the urban jungle where many surprises await.
