The Haunted Mansion (2003) - PG Real Estate Agent Jim Evers and his wife Sarah receive an unusual phone call the night of their anniversary from a man named Ramsley who is requesting Sarah's visit to the precarious Gracey Manor. With Jim's eye on the prospects of the realestate, the family sets off to the mansion where they meet Ramsley the butler who insists they staypending the weather. Later, they are introduced to Master Gracey who has an uncanny interest in Sarah. With events leading to the family's separation, the kids discover a painting in a room that looks just like their mother. Jim and the kids eventually learn of the mansion's secrets from crystal ball mistress Madame Leota who warns they must take Sarah away from the dangerous situation. With lots of spooks and surprises in the forecast, this film is a delightful interpretation of everyone's favorite hanunted house. The cast includes: Terence Stamp, Nathaniel Parker, Eddie Murphy, Marsha Thomason, Wallace Shawn, Jennifer Tilly, Dina Spybey, Aree Davis, Jim Doughan, Rachel Harris, and Marc John Jeffries.
