High Anxiety (1977) - PG

Yet another witty Brooks satire. Dr. Richard Thorndyke is offered the position as new administrator at the Psychoneurotic Institute for the "Very, Very, Very" Nervous where he is to investigate potential suspicious operations. But no sooner does he arrive than he's framed for murder and forced to defend his own psychiatric condition- "high anxiety." This witty satire pays homage to Hitchcock with innumerable references to his famous classics: VERTIGO, THE BIRDS, and PSYCHO.
