After threats of being repossessed, Peter Plunkett decides to spice up his Irish castle/hotel by turning it into a haunted attraction. But when a bus full of American tourists and their undetected ghostly companions arrive, things get very interesting. With one tourist, Jack, falling for pretty ghoul Mary, and another tourist Sharon, hoping to demystify the ghosts on behalf of her father's rights to the mortgage, High Spirits promises to be full of "lively" laughter.
