A tale that recaps the rapid Western expansion through the eyes of one family's history, The Prescotts beginning with Zebulon Prescott taking his family out of New York and heading West in the early 1800's. After years of hardship, Zebulon's children eventually reach the Western shore, overcoming the odds of war, struggle, and famine.
