I Want To Live! (1958)

Party girl and prevaricator Barbara Graham (Susan Hayward) is a small-time scammer, enticing gullible men into rigged card games. When she tries to reform, her new life crumbles and she falls back on her old ways. Then she and her cohorts in crime are charged with murder -- and face the death penalty. As the wheels of justice grind toward her, Barbara desperately claims her innocence. Hayward won an Oscar for her performance.
