It has been four years since the Great White Shark attacks and the town of Amity is slowly getting back on its feet. But when a series of boating accidents, one including the chief of police's son, occur, the police fear that another Great White is out in the vicinity of the Amity waters. Unable to discover tangible evidence of a shark, island officials refuse to back the chief's theory. Meanwhile happy-go-lucky residents and vacationers position themselves like fresh bait in the Amity waters...
