When Regina asks husband Horace to borrow money to help invest in a business with her brothers and Horace refuses, Regina's nephew, Leo, steals some negotiable bonds from Horace's banks to give to the brothers. As complicated matters turn legal, Regina starts to deny her husband his necessary medication and eventually Horace dies. Regina then bamboozles her brothers into giving her two-thirds of the business, all the while estranging herself from her own daughter.
