Lolita (1962)

Humbert Humbert is a middle-aged novelist in the midst of your typical American mid-life crisis. After encountering Lolita Haze, a striking 14 year old girl, Humbert's passion drives him to rent a room from her mother Miss Charlotte Haze. But with Charlotte's affections directed towards Humbert, Lolita's less than legal age, and a precarious Clare Quilty who just can't seem to stay away from Lolita, it seems Humbert has quite a tangled web to dissemble.
