Based on the life and events of legendary Korean War and WWII Allied Commander, the film begins in 1942 just after the fall of the Philippines. Following the astounding career of the military phenom, the film covers MacArthur's trek through the Korean War and the events that forced his retirement from the service by President Truman.

The cast includes: Gregory Peck, Ward Costello, Nicolas Coster, Ivan Bonar, Marj Dusay, Ed Flanders, Russell Johnson, Art Fleming, and Tom Rosqui.
