When an exotic dancer marries the owner of a baseball club he soon finds himself at the mercy of his controlling wife. With the notion of moving the baseball stadium to a new location her request is refused, pending she can lower the attendance at the current stadium. Intent on sabotaging the team so the fan base will wane, she tries to field the worst team she can find. But when the owner inspires the misfit rookies it seems they might have a chance to come back and earn some respect along the way.
