Descending from a family of prolific treasure hunters, Benjamin Franklin Gates continues the family search for the secret treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers post the Revolutionary War. But when Gates get close to the treasure, his partners turn on him and it becomes a race to the invaluable riches. With daredevil heists and action-packed ploys, Gates uses the Declaration of Independence and the assistance of his techy friend and historician/love interest to beat the bad guys, and the CIA to the National Treasure.
