This witty parody describes how one man's perilous attempt to sell a story to Esoteric Studios gets him a series of abuses and guardianship of his niece after her mother is killed while filming a stunt scene. Adventures continue when "Uncle Bill" takes his niece to Mexico where, after another unlikely accident lands the two in the realm of the man-eating Mrs. Hemogloben. The two journey to a Russian colony with the hops of selling wooden nutmegs only to encounter a man who is father to a duo of boys who formerly harassed Uncle Bill. The film brings laughter upon laughter with Uncle Bill's constant duping mimicking the actual story Esoteric Studios refused to buy.
