Recent divorcees Melanie Parker and Jack Taylor are struggling to keep their lives and their careers together as their children, Sammy and Maggie, and their jobs as an architect and news journalist, respectively, turn up the heat. But when Melanie and Jack's lives collide will the sudden introduction of a new acquaintance prove disastrous or just the prescription they were looking for?
