Out of Time (2003)

A shocking double-murder in the small community of Banyan Key, Florida, turns the life of Police Chief Matt Lee Whitlock (Denzel Washington) upside down. Once the object of respect by his peers and the love and admiration of the community, Whitlock becomes a suspect in the murders, which he must solve before his own police force and everyone he's ever trusted closes in on him.
