Pale Rider (1985)- R

All is well for a quiet California gold mining camp until their neighboring landowner becomes determined to steal their claim. Though a mysterious preacher arrives and musters all the power of his religious rhetoric to persuade the neighbor otherwise, it seems he has more cut out for them than initially expected. Meanwhile enter a precarious sheriff who seems more wary of the humble preacher than natural. What exactly is the nature of the mysterious man with no past? And what of the fate of the little mining town?
