Panic Room (2002) - R
Recently divorced, Meg Altman and her daughter Sarah move into a new house to start their lives over. This old fashioned house has all the comforts of home, and… a panic room that serves as a place of refuge if the house should ever fall under attack. Ironically enough the Altman’s will be invaded their first night in the new house by a trio of thieves. Stuck inside the panic room the Altman women try to wait out the thieves rampage, not immediately realizing that the men want something contained in the actual room holding them hostage. With Sarah's diabetes provoking serious health issues it is only a matter of time before someone must surrender. The cast includes: Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, Dwight Yokam, Jared Leto, Kristen Stewart, Patrick Bauchau, and Ann Magnuson. Directed by: David Fincher.
