The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)

Drag queens Felicia (Guy Pearce) and Mitzi (Hugo Weaving) join forces with transsexual Bernadette (Terence Stamp) on a tour across Australia in a bus (pink, of course!) named Priscilla. Lip-synching popular disco tunes (particularly ABBA) for the locals in the Outback, the trio don one outrageous costume after another and manage to make enough money to get to the next town, striking blows against homophobia while they go.

The cast includes: Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, Terence Stamp, Rebel Penfold-Russell, and Bill Hunter.
