Quiz Show (1994)

Prime-time game shows were a cultural phenomenon in the late 1950s. As depicted in Quiz Show, however, the American public had no idea of the scam they were watching, as, week after week, contestant Charles Van Doren (Ralph Fiennes) pretended to wrestle with difficult questions he'd already been told the answers to on the TV quiz show "Twenty-One." The whole charade finally comes crashing down when a persistent congressional investigator, Dick Goodwin (Rob Morrow) uncovers the fraud beneath the glitter. Be sure not to miss the great cameo from Martin Scorcese.
