RoboCop (1987) - R
Set in the city of Detroit sometime in the future, a massive corporation has developed has developed a crime-fighting robot to control the corrupt streets. But the robot develops a glitch and begins to act against orders. When cop Alex Murphy is killed by a street gang, the company reconstructs Murphy's body with a steel shell birthing the creature Robocop. Robocop begins to avenge injustices earning civilian favor along the road to his match up with evil robot villain Boddicker. The cast includes: Nancy Allen, Peter Weller, Ronny Cox, Dan O'Herlihy, Miguel Ferrer, Kurtwood Smith, Robert DoQui, Ray Wise, and Felton Perry. Directed by: Paul Verhoeven.
