Rumble Fish (1983 - R)

Rusty James lives by the memory of his absent, older brother, "The Motorcycle Boy," running a small-time gang in his industrial hometown. When his mother flies the coop, he's left in the company of an alcoholic father, who doesn't exactly encourage an education.  Though his older brother formerly outlawed gang "rumbles," Rusty finds himself disillusioned by his dead-end-life and drawn into one last "rumble" that forever changes his life thereafter.

The cast includes: Matt Dillon, Dennis Hopper, Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke, Diana Scarwid, Vincent Spano, Chris Penn, Nicholas Cage, and Laurence Fishburne.
