After Consul Han relocates his family to Los Angeles he is pursued by the evil Crime Lord Han who kidnaps the Consul's daughter Soo Young in vengeance for his prosecutions over seas. But Han doesn't trust the FBI and, instead, hires Hong Kong detective, Inspector Lee. Determined to get involved, the FBI team up Lee with local LAPD detective James Carter who is assigned to keep Lee out of trouble. With two disgruntled agents who prefer independent action to teamwork suddenly working together, it seems Consul Han and audiences may be in for a bigger surprise than they bargained for.
