Send Me No Flowers (1964)
When hypochondriac George Kimball mistakenly assumes a terminal man's illness to be his own, he takes on the secret task of finding his unsuspecting wife a new husband, so she won't be lonely when he dies. But his kooky antics raise suspicion in his wife who quickly discovers her husband to be completely healthy, despite his avid refusal. Disturbed, Kimball's wife takes his obstinacy as a sign of an affair and decides to leave Kimball after all. The cast includes: Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Paul Lynde, Tony Randall, Patricia Barry, Hal March, Edward Andrews, Dave Willock, and Clive Clerk. Directed by: Norman Jewison.
