Smokey and the Bandit

When a duo of southern truck drivers named Bandit and Cledus take hotshots Little Enos and Big up on a dare to hijack a truck full of beer in Texas the last thing they intended on was picking up a hitchhiking runaway bride named Carrie. Her groom to be, Junior, just happens to be the son of Sheriff Justice and when the father son duo realize who Carrie is suddenly fraternizing with, the two men race across the Southeast US to catch the bandits. The cast includes: Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Mike Henry, Paul Williams, Jerry Reed, Jackie Gleason, Pat McCormick, Linda McClure, and Lamar Jackson. Directed by: Hal Needham.
