Ollie and Stan are in a pinch; they want to attend the annual "Sons of the Desert" convention but can't do so unless Stan can get some off-time. After finding a "doctor" who prescribes Stan a long cruise to Hawaii as a cure to his "ailment", the two set sail on their adventure. But upon returning they learn that the ship they were actually supposed to attend, has sunk. Together Stan and Ollie try to weasel their way out of their wives' suspicions with crazy tales of, ship-hiking?
