The Birds (1963) Socialite/jokester Melanie Daniels bumps into intriguing Mitch Brenner while shopping in a San Franciscan pet store. Mitch, pretending not to recognize the pretty Melanie, tells her that he is tyring to buy a pair of love birds for his younger sister's birthday. With Melanie taking the initiative to buy the birds and drive up to Mitches town to deliver them, she soon discovers that a lot more than just a pair of love birds will be nesting in the queit town of Bodega Bay.
