The Chronicles of Riddick (2004 - R)

Set somewhere out of this world, in the distant future: finding himself a hunted man, refugee convict, Richard B. Riddick, is stuck in the middle of a major crusade led by warrior priest, Lord Marshall of planet New Mecca.  But the crusade is not without conflict, namely ambassador Aereon of the Elemental race, who helps Riddick trace his earthly origins and understand his role in the grand scheme of things.

The cast includes: Thandie Newton, Vin Diesel, Colm Feore, Judi Dench, Alexa Davalos, Karl Urban, and Linus Roache.
